New Approved Provider Mencap in Kirklees Achieve Highest Level
Mencap in Kirklees have successfully completed the Quality For Health quality assurance standard and are now a Level 2 approved provider.
Mencap in Kirklees works with people who have learning disabilities and with their families and carers to enable them to lead full and purposeful lives. With their ever-growing service – and now, the highest level of Quality For Health – Mencap in Kirklees are always looking to reach the people that don’t get the care & support they need.
Carol Haigh, Chief Executive of Mencap in Kirklees said:
“Working through the Quality For Health system has reminded me of the fantastic work we already do in supporting people’s health needs, which is often overlooked.
We have made positive changes to some of our practices particularly in relation to the recruitment of Trustees and volunteers and as an organisation we are much more aware of the impact of our support on peoples mental and physical health.”
